WHAT IS NATIONAL NIGHT OUT?
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Together, we are making that happen. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Additionally, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits. https://natw.org/about

Presentation to New Judge in Appreciation

Search and Rescue can not thank Dennis Gilstrap enough for all of the hard work and dedication he has put towards this volunteer team. He spent countless hours going on searches in the middle of the night and out of town with us and tried his best to get grants so we could have equipment that we so desperately needed. He did an awesome job and the least that we could do to show our gratitude and appreciation is presenting him with a gift certificate to Doe’s. Today along with President of Search and Rescue, Jim Jones, the current Department of Emergency Manager, Brad Thomas, bestowed upon Dennis this gift from us. Congratulations on your new obligations as County Judge.
